KartRider Tools brings the worlds of CrazyRacing KartRider into a 3D workflow. A Windows application reads the game's archives and model files, then converts maps, characters, and karts into editable USD scenes. A companion importer for Cinema 4D 2026 reconstructs materials and animation, connecting the game's proprietary formats to familiar tools for studying, lighting, and rendering 3D scenes.
From game files to scenes
A game environment is more than a collection of meshes. Its appearance depends on how objects are arranged, how textures move, and how animation connects to the model. The conversion pipeline unpacks .rho archives and reads .1s binaries to carry those relationships into USD, alongside geometry, textures, and materials.
Map exports include roads, scenery, sky domes, and decorations. Object transforms, UV motion, material animation, and transparency remain part of the scene. Character exports preserve skinned meshes and their bone hierarchy, with individual actions and matching face textures. Kart exports retain the model hierarchy and animation for individual parts.
Collision volumes, trigger zones, and other non-visual game elements are filtered automatically, so the exported scene is ready to work with visually. USD provides a common handoff into DCC applications and rendering pipelines, making the converted assets available for further editing.
Reconstructing the look in Cinema 4D
The Cinema 4D 2026 plugin supports both Standard and Redshift materials. A one-click switch between Diffuse lighting and Flat, unlit shading makes it possible to compare the original texture-led appearance with a lit rendering.
The importer reconstructs UV animation, handles alpha channels and transparency, and converts the source coordinate system from Z-up to Y-up. It also skips collision bodies and other non-visual elements during import, reducing the cleanup needed before working on a shot or exploring the scene.
A desktop workflow
The Windows app supports batch scanning and conversion. Its interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean, with track, kart, and character names displayed in the selected language. The download includes the application and Cinema 4D plugin; the application runs directly without installation.
